I had just pulled my Nikon D60 out of it's box. I didn't even know if the battery was charged. I just said, "Smile" and CLICK, I got a real life moment...the moment my two-year-old - who just woke up from a nap - decided to smack her four-year-old sister. I love this 'mistake'. It is MY LIFE!

Thinking...
that this 365 Photoblog isn't working for me....not now anyway. I still plan on keeping this blog, but will be re-naming it (no more 365!) and won't have the goal of posting daily. I keep a private family blog and that is the blog I wish to faithfully maintain as a record for the girls and to share photos and stories with family and friends. I just don't have time for both on a regular basis. I will still use this blog to share favorite photos and respond to some of the challenges of the Shutter Sisters. I am inspired by these female photographers and hope to improve my skills and creativity via their site, readers' tips, readers' links and challenges!

Laughter
I can almost hear it....
“The person who can bring the spirit of laughter into a room is indeed blessed.”

Love Thursday - The New Little Sister
This is an all-time FAVORITE photo! I used it on the birth announcement for my youngest. It is framed in her room and I look at it daily. 2.5 years later and they still LOVE each other....well, most of the time!
About Love Thursday - This is a weekly theme I plan to go with from Shutter Sisters. I am already starting to question if I can truly post for 365 days straight and decided I might need a weekly theme to keep me inspired! Thanks for the inspiration SHUTTER SISTERS!!!Wednesday, July 2, 2008
